Secondary and the Class 10 board
Grades 9 and 10 prepare students for the CBSE Class 10 board examination. Subject teaching gets deeper, laboratory work becomes central to the sciences, and internal assessment through the year mirrors the board pattern so students walk into the examination familiar with it.

Senior Secondary
Senior Secondary students specialise in their chosen stream and prepare for the CBSE Class 12 board examination alongside national entrance tests such as JEE, NEET and CUET. Career counselling and university guidance run through both years.

Students on the Hybrid CBSE curriculum are stimulated to achieve their full potential through a meticulously curated school environment. The Science labs, the Tinkering Laboratory and the one of a kind Science Park are developed with salient features that inspire innovation.
Special focus is given to non-academic subjects such as dance, art, music, yoga, values and sport, so that every student’s passion is flamed and each one gets an opportunity to shine and showcase their talent. NHMUN, olympiads, inter-school competitions and leadership roles give students the chance to test themselves outside the classroom.
NHIS has offered the Cambridge (CAIE) curriculum as an option in earlier years. From the academic year 2027-28, NHIS will discontinue Cambridge teaching, and all grades will follow the Hybrid CBSE curriculum. Admissions and enquiries for 2027-28 onwards relate to Hybrid CBSE only.
