A field trip to ISKCON is a valuable educational experience that enriches students’ lives by exposing them to spiritual practices, cultural traditions, and philosophical insights. It fosters open-mindedness, tolerance, and a deeper appreciation for the diversity of the India’s belief systems. It is a journey of self-discovery and enlightenment, leaving a lasting impact on students’ personal and academic growth. Our children of the primary wing of NHIS visited ISKCON on various days, it was a fun-filled yet a life transforming experience for these youngsters. Children witnessed the life of Krishna depicted as paintings, they savored a sumptuous vegetarian meal as part of the “prasadam” tradition, which emphasizes food as an offering to the divine.
