Admiring the evening sky provides children with a lifelong education and satisfies their curiosity about astronomy! New Horizon International School, Bangalore, organised a 2-day stargazing session for its students from grades 3rd to 5th, which began on the 31st of November and ended on the 2nd of December. Around 100+ students were part of this session with Genex Space, where they observed celestial objects like Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, different faces of the moon, and various stars.
This program provided hands-on and practical education for students about Telescope Assembling, Calibrating the Telescope, Identification & Location of The Celestial Bodies in The Sky. The main motto of the event was to introduce the universe and how it works to our students and provide a pathway to their dreams!
This event ended up not just teaching our children about space, but at the same time, they got to see with their own eyes the beauty of our planet!
