Primary years, Grades 1 to 5
With a maximum of 32 to 35 students per class, teachers can calibrate the pedagogy to the disposition of each child and give real one-on-one time.
These years belong to inquiry and wonder, both vital to becoming a lifelong learner. Our students are given a strong foundation that lets them explore a field of interest later without hesitation or scepticism.

Learning by doing
A one of a kind Science Park and a fully functional Robotics Lab give primary students an abundance of practical knowledge and repeated opportunities to innovate, create and test their skills. This is what the hybrid in Hybrid CBSE looks like inside a Grade 3 or Grade 5 classroom.
Moving into Grade 6
Students continue into Grade 6 on the same Hybrid CBSE curriculum. There is no board change and no choice to be made at the end of Grade 5, so families can plan the full school journey at NHIS from the start.
